We have space for our infants to grow and learn, and have separate classrooms depending on developmental stage. Our Infant A Classroom is for infants six weeks to about six months old, when an infant begins to crawl and become mobile. This allows the infants in this room to have tummy time and to feel free to explore their world without the worry of another infant invading their space. Our Infant B Classroom is meant for those infants who are about six months to about 12 months and who are crawling and cru

Our classrooms are set up to help develop the whole child. While learning those cognitive skills to make them successful in years to come, we also foster the social and emotional skills needed for success as well.

We are more than a daycare for your child. We are a learning center. We do provide a curriculum for your child even at the young age of six weeks, which is individualized for his or her stages and abilities. At this age, sensory exploration is the main way infants learn, grow and figure out the world around them. Look for evidence of learning on our display boards in our classroom to see what our youngest students are accomplishing.

Children learn so much through sensory exploration between the ages of birth and three years old. That's why our curriculum provides ample opportunities for children to explore their world through sensory play.

You might see a student playing with play dough. Did you know she is also working on her fine-motor skills, eye/hand coordination, shape and color identification, vocabulary, and social skills, too? We did. It’s part of the educational standards we use when we plan activities like this for our day!

Circle time in the Discovery Preschool Classroom is full of stories in song, in print, and from the children themselves. It is a time for the children to learn about the calendar, the alphabet, the weather, and colors and shapes.

Our Prekindergarten Classrooms prepare your child for kindergarten. These students start to learn sight words in both English and Spanish. They have a writing journal where they begin to write these words in English and Spanish as well.

Group time in prekindergarten is a great place for your child to express individuality as well as learn to respect the individuality of others. This will be a great asset for children once they are in an elementary setting.

We have two Prekindergarten Classrooms. Each classroom uses our prekindergarten curriculum. Our Prekindergarten A Classroom will have some students who will go off to kindergarten in the fall while other students will move on to our Prekindergarten B Classroom because their birth date prevents them from attending kindergarten that school year. Our Prekindergarten B Teacher will make the curriculum a little more challenging for her students so that they will continue to learn and grow while at our center.

The great thing about our program is learning is fun! Children are asked to use the blocks to build a barn for their animals. They set off with their imagination to build an extraordinary barn. Our teachers know they are using math concepts, eye/hand coordination, and fine-motor skills. They are also learning science concepts such as cause and effect. Who knew? Our teachers knew.

While learning to be successful in kindergarten, we are also instilling health and safety skills in our students. Children learn how and when to properly wash their hands as well as proper teeth-brushing skills.

Social and emotional development is just as important as cognitive and physical development. Self-confidence is something that we want every child to experience while learning in our care.

We have two playgrounds. This one is designed to be age-appropriate for children ages two and under. Each classroom has 30 minutes for outdoor play every morning and afternoon. Child-directed play is still learning as teachers can make each moment a teachable one.

What makes us unique? Our large indoor play area. When the weather is too hot, too cold, or too wet, we have the ability to build gross-motor skills inside. That way, your child can get the wiggles out before going home with you.

We have a kitchen in our center so all of our food is prepared in-house. Once the food is prepared, it goes to your child's classroom, where our teachers will serve the meals in a family-style dining way. Our meals follow the USDA requirements for nutritional content and portion sizes.

We offer Learning Adventures at our center. These are classes that are available outside the curriculum your child receives in our classrooms, at a much smaller teacher/child ratio. Much like tutoring-style learning, children can catch up to learning milestones or gain an advantage to set them up for success in elementary learning.
