<span class='text about-us'> Conveniently located between Salisbury and Ocean City, Maryland   A Friend of Mine Boarding Kennel is owned and operated with over 30 yrs of pet care management experience.  We are recommended by many of the local veterinarians in the area.  It will be our pleasure to take care of your best friend!  Book your pets stay with us today!   We also carry premier pet foods.  Please take a look at the outstanding products that we now offer from Orijen.  Going to the Dogs Rooms:  The Going to the Dogs Rooms are light and airy with inside runs, music, toddler beds and/or resting benches for comfort.  The facility is heated and air conditioned.    Each pet is taken out 4 times daily. Going to the Dogs Rooms for small dogs:  Small and/or shy dogs enjoy the comfort of one room, while large dogs occupy another.   Doggie Daycare:  Dogs six months and older, which are spayed and/or neutered with up to date vaccinations are invited to join us for supervised play sessions from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm weekdays Monday through Friday.  Nap time is from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.  Full and half day rates are available.  Play groups are based on energy level and size.  Boarding overnight is offered with full, half day, or without Doggie Daycare.  We offer 2 different size wading pools, a Pit Ball game, playground and agility equipment, Frisbee, and fetch.  Pets that enjoy interacting with others are allowed to do so with supervision.  Quiet walks in a country setting and individual playtime are also available for a small fee.       Walk in the Park Room:  Our Walk In The Park Room has all the comforts of home. Cat's will have a quiet appreciation of nature while having an up close and personal view of birds feeding just outside the window. Small dogs,accustomed to a quiet lifestyle, find this room very appealing.            Abbey's Way:  Our Abbey's Way consists of 4 private suites, each with a deluxe crib and private playground. The room also has a fireplace and television and that little touch of home.                Purr-Feet Touch Room:  Our Purr-feet Touch Room is where cats lounge in tri-level condos, watch nature videos, or gaze out the window into the butterfly garden.        Doggone Beautiful Salon:  At the Doggone Beautiful Salon, professional all breed grooming for your pet consists of pampering, with all natural deep cleansing or medicated hydro-massage therapy spa baths, skin conditioning, styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, bandannas, bows and all the TLC we are known for.        Biscuit Ala Carte:  Biscuit Ala Carte is an entree all of our canine friends look forward to as they do at home. Please bring their favorite treats!    Our hours for picking up and or dropping off are:   Mon - 8:00am - 12:00pm &amp; 4:00pm - 6:00pm  Tues - 8:00am - 12:00pm &amp; 4:00pm - 6:00pm  Wed - Closed  Thurs - 8:00am - 12:00pm &amp; 4:00pm - 6:00pm  Fri - 8:00am - 12:00pm &amp; 4:00pm - 6:00pm  Saturday - 8:00am - 11:00am  Sunday - 4:00pm - 6:00pm     Holiday Closings:   New Years Day  Easter Sunday Memorial Day  July 4th  Labor Day  Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day  Please make arrangements to pick up your pet during normal business hours; there is a $35.00 fee for after hour accommodations.  This fee will be in addition to daily boarding fees.  A Friend of Mine Boarding Kennel will not release any pet to anyone other than the owner unless prior arrangements have been made.</span>
