• A440 Piano Service offers complete piano service to all customers. From the piano at home to concert preparation, we offer any service from piano tuning and minor piano repair to complete piano restoration. We are your number one piano repair service.
  Howard Homer is a graduate of the Piano Technology program at Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City, Iowa as a full-time resident. The 1100-hour curriculum included tuning, voicing, regulation, and rebuilding, all performance being certified by intense testing. Only 25% of technicians nationwide have received similar education. His extensive client list includes individuals, churches, and schools. It has been an honor for him to serve Northern Colorado for over 25 years, although 2009-2010 found him in Haiti and Eastern Europe participating in humanitarian activities. As rewarding as those experiences were for him, he is thrilled to be back with family, friends, and clients on the beautiful front range.
  The general area in which he offers full service is often referred to as the ‘Northern Front Range’ or ‘Northern Colorado’. The counties are Larimer, Boulder, and Weld. The cities are Boulder, Louisville, Longmont, Lafayette, Fort Collins, Loveland, Red Feather Lakes, Superior, Berthoud, Greeley, Broomfield, Thornton, Frederick, Firestone, Niwot, Estes Park, Greeley, Allenspark, Nederland, Red Feather Lakes, Mead, Fort Lupton, and Hudson.
  Our rebuilding and restoration services are offered nationwide. We hire only licensed, insured, specialized, musical instrument transport contractors that provide door to door service in climate controlled trucks to transport your heirloom.
  Howard’s primary focus when tuning is on stability. My goal is provide beautiful tuning that will last for as long as possible. I do this by combining 25 years of experience with the latest technology and extraordinary effort. When tuning, I play each note with more vigor than you ever will in order to “settle” the strings into their “happy place” and keep them there.
  Howard carries thousands of parts and several cases of tools with him to every appointment so that he is well-prepared to make any adjustment or correct any mechanical deficiency. His comprehensive approach to service has proven to be effective at keeping fine instruments in top condition without major expense for decades, and has proven to be equally effective at dramatically and economically improving lesser pianos over time.
