Janet Barrows, MSOM, L. Ac. Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist, and Qigong Practitioner Janet Barrows earned a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medical College—Berkeley. She is a California State Licensed Acupuncturist (L. Ac.) practicing acupuncture and integrative medicine in Santa Rosa and throughout Sonoma County. Her practice includes acupuncture, natural herbs, essential oils, facial rejuvenation, nutrition, and medical qigong. Janet's office is centrally located in the heart of Santa Rosa CA on Fourth Street. She chose her particular Chinese medical school intentionally because the training included hundreds of hours of Western medical classes. She talks with patients in the Western terminology that we are all familiar with and then applies the traditional Chinese medicine to help them. Her training has created an effective bridge between modern science and the wisdom and brilliance of ancient practices. This blended approach ensures that Janet's patients receive the benefits of both worlds—Eastern and Western.
