Aikido promotes protection of one self and others through principles of respect, harmony, cooperation and physical training. A serious martial discipline, Aikido is designed to promote personal growth & integration as well as developing a strong & harmonious spirit through both physical & mental training in martial technique There is a progression from bu-jutsu (martial techniques) to budo (martial way)to bushin (martial spirit).
