American Dance Co. began as Suzan Angell School of Dance and Drill Team, a San Antonio fixture since 1987 with a reputation of excellence for its dance instruction. Owners Farrah and Joe Olson took pride in their curriculum, but wanted to offer the community they served even more by expanding their curriculum. The name was changed to American Dance Co. to reflect the emphasis on the American Styles of Dance. ADC specializes in those American Born Dance Forms: Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern/Contemporary, Tap and Precision Dance, along with Ballet, the foundation for all of these dance forms and the launching pad for success in all dance disciplines. ADC has been leading the dance industry in San Antonio as one of the First studios to offer Dance Team Precision, Leaps & Turns, Hip Hop and Contemporary. At American Dance Co. it is our goal to expose students to as many forms of dance making them well rounded performers with a diverse repertoire.
