    Master Phil Ross: Chief Instructor

    Master Phil Ross is the area’s most decorated and accomplished martial artist and fitness instructor. Listed are his ranks and important certifications. He achieved his Sho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt) in 1986. At the time he was Ranked #6 Nationally in the Light Heavyweight Kumite Division by Karate Review, as a Brown Belt. 30 years later, he earned his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Here’s the breakdown:

    3rd Degree Black Belt, Taekwondo: Dr. Michael Evangel

    In addition to the Martial Arts, he’s also a Master Tactical Instructor in CDT (Compliance Direction Takedown) under Tom Patire, a Master RKC Kettlebell Instructor with Dragon Door as well as a PCC, Progressive Calisthenics Certified Instructor with the same organization, a Certified Functional Movement Specialist and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.

    He was also victorious in over 300 Martial Arts contests, a Coach in the UFC for over 4 years, a NAGA Expert Level Submission Fighting Champion in 2010, Captain of the NJ World Karate Team in 1994 and fought for the WAKO World Title in 1989. In that same year, was a featured performer on the Wide World of Sports.

    Master Ross is also a published author with two books, Survival Strong, A Guide to street Survival and Strength and Ferocious Fitness, A Fighter’s proven action plan to develop blazing power, animalistic strength and killer conditioning. He also has the #1 Rated S.A.V.E. Self Defense and Fitness Video series as well as The Kettlebell Workout Library, a 20 hour, DVD series with 104 workouts and a 144 page full color manual.
