• Aspen Valley Hospital (AVH) is a twenty-five bed community hospital that represents the best of two worlds-the warmth and friendliness of a small town, and the technical expertise of a major medical center.
  In face, AVH is the first Colorado Hospital to be selected as a member of the Mayo Clinc Care Network after passing a rigorous review process based on quality, service, and operational criteria. Through the Mayo Clinic Care Network, local physicians have Mayo Clinic expertise at their fingertips: eConsults, treatment recommendations, the latest research, and access to some of the best medical knowledge in the world-right here at home.
  
  Aspen Valley Hospital has been recognized with numerous awards for patient satisfaction, most recently being named HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Systems) Best Performer in the ""Overall Rating,"" ""Responsiveness of Hospital Staff,"" and ""Cleanliness"" composites. In addition, we received recognition for ""Exceeding Patient Expectations"" and for patient safety accomplishments related to the top 11 ""preventable harms"" in hospitals.
  Although orthopaedics and sports medicine are a primary focus of AVH, a full range of services is offered. With board-certified specialists n twent-five different fields of medicine, we are prepared to care for a broad range of medical issues.
  AVH is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and is also designated a Critical Access Hospital and Level III Trauma Center.
