• Dan Balboni: I began my career in 1990 in wholesale jewelry and soon moved into retail jewelry. I have worked mostly for independent jewelers in various levels of retail. I opened Balboni Custom Jeweler, LLC on June 1, 2003. My credentials are as follows: * Graduate Gemologist - graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 1994. * Personal Property Appraiser (applied to gemstones & jewelry) - completed all of the core courses as well as advanced courses in 1995 from the International Society of Appraisers. I am a native of Newington, CT. I decided to locate my business here because of the people of this community as well as the surrounding communities. My business philosophy is simple - to treat customers as I would like to be treated, as a friend and to give them real value for their money. My business has been built on word of mouth and as you know, that is something money can't buy. I attribute my success to my personal involvement in this community as well as the surrounding communities. My involvement extends to: * The Newington Chamber of Commerce - as a member and past member of the Board of Directors. * The New Britain Chamber of Commerce - as a member and past member of the board of Directors. * The Berlin Chamber of Commerce - as a member and past member of the Board of Directors. I specialize in custom jewelry design. I work by appointment at my office in Newington, CT. The jewelry of your desire can be made from your own design or from a picture or drawing.
