As you talk with the nurses and Dr. Becker, you will immediately appreciate that we speak in terms that are easy to understand, and we will not rush. All of your questions will be answered fully and honestly. Lastly, there is no pressure to have surgery. After a thorough discussion, you will be able to take all the time necessary to decide which of the options (including no surgery) is best for you. Fully Accredited Facility: The state-of-the-art operating room suite at Becker Plastic Surgery has been inspected and accredited by the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). In addition to the confidentiality and cost-savings of having your procedure done in our facility, the AAAASF accreditation assures you the highest level of safety. Dr. Rick Becker is originally from Mandan, ND and returned in 1997 to start his practice. He attended the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and also trained in general surgery at UND. His plastic and reconstructive surgery training was completed at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He was trained in cosmetic surgery in Manhattan, NY via WSU. Dr. Becker continued his training with a breast surgery fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and is the only plastic surgeon in the Dakotas to have such training. Dr. Becker is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the North Dakota American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
