BEVERLY BERTRAM Founder, Author, and Creator of the Dream Retirement Process Beverly is a well-known financial speaker and holds the Certified Income Specialist (CIS) professional designation. She has devoted her career to educating retirees and pre-retirees how to protect their principal and help ensure their money lasts as long as they do. Bev has counseled thousands of people on how to increase their income, potentially reduce income, estate and Social Security taxes, and help protect their estates. Bev has more than 30 years’ experience in financial and estate planning. She is a licensed insurance professional and an Investment Adviser Representative, a designation that requires an extensive course of study and passing a comprehensive exam that covers both investment and personal financial issues. Bev lives with her husband, Mike, on their small farmette in Mineral Point where they raised nine children, including four biological daughters, four adopted daughters and one adopted son. Bev enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren or enjoying the great outdoors either on foot or horseback. MICHELLE BERTRAM Author and Creator of the Dream Retirement Process As a financial speaker, author, insurance professional and Investment Adviser Representative, Michelle Bertram has dedicated her career to showing retirees and pre-retirees how to avoid retirement pitfalls. A top-rated speaker at financial seminars hosted at universities such as the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, she also shares her financial wisdom as a regular guest on radio, including WEKZ-FM. She has worked with many groups of pre-retirees, including employees of John Deere, Lands’ End, Wisconsin State and the federal government. Michelle earned an associate’s degree in psychology from Ashworth College. She uses her knowledge to help benefit not only retirees and pre-retirees, but also the community through her work with the nonprofit organization she founded that focuses on working with local youth and supporting orphanages in Haiti. Michelle lives with her two adopted sons, Asa and Asher, in Mineral Point. She enjoys spending time with her boys and cheering on her favorite sports teams, especially the Pointers and the Badgers.
