Bit of Hope Ranch is a non-profit organization that provides a safe place for at-risk children and youth in the greater Gastonia area. The mission is simple: Reach, Rescue, Restore. Each child is paired with a caring adult and a rescued horse. Together they learn horsemanship skills and character building virtues. Both the "broken" horse and the "broken" child learn to communicate with each other, build trust, and experience life lessons together. We offer counseling services as well as lessons and education programs to ensure that if you're looking for a way to help a child or teen suffering from depression, behavioral changes, substance abuse or other mood or physical symptoms Bit of Hope Ranch offers a solution to fit each individual case.The ranch is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that operates because of your generous donations of time, hard work, supplies, and monetary sponsorships.
