Bob Krause is running against Charles Grassley for the United States Senate. Bob is concerned with the massive income and wealth disparity in America - which is at its worst since 1928. Bob believes that all Americans seek and desire a fair shake in life, regardless of wealth and income, race, color, creed, national origin, age, disability, marital status gender or gender preference. Bob was raised on a small Century farm in northern Iowa that is still in the family. He has been a state legislator, a college instructor, a transportation planner, a high level Carter Adniminstration appointee, a school board member, a national think tank director, an author, an international transportation policy consultant, and a member of the Armed Forces. He served 28 years in the Army Reserve and National Guard and is retired as a colonel. Currently he is President of the Veterans National REcovery Center, which is a small charity that he founded and which is dedicated to the recovery of veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury and Military Sexual Trauma. He is married to Vicky Matthiessen Krause and they have a blended family.
