BodyGuard Sports Medicine is a comprehensive sports medicine program focused on the treatment and prevention of sports injuries in athletes of all ages. In accordance with the National Athletic Trainers' Association, our mission is to enhance the quality of health care for athletes and those engaged in physical activity and to advance the profession of athletic training through education and research in the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. BodyGuard Sports Medicine not only provides athletic training to student athletes in eight area schools, but the program also provides our communities access to award-winning wound care services, comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services at both Sumner Regional Medical Center and Sumner Station.
