    In 1987, Brett Oppenheimer received his Bachelor's degree in marketing at the University of Florida. He returned to Louisville, Kentucky to earn his legal degree in 1991 at the University of Louisville. Also in 1991, he was admitted to the Kentucky and U.S. District Court Western District of Kentucky bars. Brett Oppenheimer currently lives and practices law in Louisville, Kentucky, pursuing cases statewide. He has a wife, Laurie, and two boys, Ben and Blake.
