In both our private sector and public works projects, Campion Walker Landscapes recognizes the need to interface with the native environment as well as embrace sustainable practices. Our designs endeavor to strike a balance between beauty and practicality: creating gardens that are readily perceived, enjoyed and easily maintained over time. Each project is considered an opportunity to establish a unique sense of place and narrative. Structures and hardscape materials are chosen for their ability to marry with the existing features. California native and Mediterranean plant species are selected based on the unique qualities they bring to the landscape – whether it is the shady canopy of an oak, the movement of a willowy bunch grass , or the spicy aroma emitted from a woody sage as it is brushed against on a walkway. It is our hope that each visitor to one of our landscapes will experience a sense of wonder and discovery that both enlightens and inspires.
