• ProActive Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy was founded in 2002 by three clinicians who had a unique vision of physical therapy. This vision focused on providing excellent customer service while delivering outstanding physical therapy and superior functional outcomes. ProActive started with three clinics in Canby, Oregon City, and Gresham, Oregon. As our reputation for providing the best customer service with high quality physical therapy grew, so did our number of clinics and ownership. Today, we have five owners and nine clinics. Our locations in Oregon include Canby, Oregon City, Gresham, Tualatin and we expanded into central Oregon with the acquisition of Prineville Physical Therapy in August 2016. Our locations in Washington include East and West Vancouver, Battle Ground, and Salmon Creek. With this network of clinics, ProActive is positioned to provide the highest level of care to the Portland/ Vancouver metro area and reach into the expanding central Oregon market. ProActive specializes in the evaluation and treatment of all orthopedic, sports, work place/industrial, and motor vehicle injuries. We also provide advanced specialized treatment for women's health, lymphedema, visceral, and TMD (jaw) problems. Individualized treatment plans are designed to meet each patient's unique goals. Our philosophy is to provide a fun and caring environment and facilitate the rapid recovery from your injury. We emphasize hands on care, active exercise, outstanding communication with you and your medical provider, patient education, and a home program for long term benefit. ProActive provides our therapists with ongoing skill development, in-services, and continuing education to ensure we are highly trained in both the traditional and latest techniques in the field of physical therapy. ProActive also believes in supporting the communities we serve and provides certified athletic trainers to some of our local high schools, educational seminars to local service organizations and donations to other charitable organizations.
