• Canella Heating and Air Conditioning has been ensuring home comfort in the Catawba Valley area for over 20 years. Recognized, certified experts in residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning service, maintenance, and installation, our trained and certified staff is prepared to handle any and all home comfort issues from mechanical equipment problems to poor indoor air quality. Then we took our qualifications a step further than standard licenses and training by adding certified Building Analysts (bpi.org) to our staff. These members of our team are professionally trained to spot safety and indoor air quality problems, areas for energy efficiency or comfort improvement, and potential issues within existing homes such as conditions ripe for mold growth or inadequate insulation levels. Next, to support our commitment to the environment, we increased our understanding of what we can do and what we can help our customers do by participating in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) green certification program and added two Certified Green Professionals (www.nahb.org) to our staff. Finally, we strongly believe energy efficiency is the cheapest way to decrease our dependency on foreign oil and conserve our resources, among the many other benefits. To support this philosophy, we offer many options for Energy Star rated HVAC equipment and actively participate in Energy Star s qualification program for new home construction.
