• Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery was established in the late eighties. The cemetery is located on about 26 acres near the intersection of Highway 20 and East Cherokee Drive. The first burial was in 1988 and has been caring for families since that time. Today, the park is owned by Joseph L. Hickey, a licensed cemeterian in the state of Georgia for 17 years. The cemetery staff is always available and nearby when you need them. We look forward to helping your family through one of the most trying times in your life, the loss of a loved one. The cemetery has nine gardens (Love, Peace, Peace II, Valor (Veterans), Heritage (upright granite), Private Estates, Private Family Estates (16 lot estates), Tranquility, Resurrection (a designated consecrated section for Catholics), 3 Columbariums for cremations (Angel, Sacred Heart of Jesus and Jesus with cross) and a SOLD OUT 64 crypt mausoleum. The cemetery can accommodate any families preferences including ground burial side by side or double depth and cremations using benches for cremations. Stop by the cemetery office located on the cemetery grounds in the red brick building or stop in at the funeral home located at the entrance to the cemetery on E Cherokee Drive for any information you may need. Making arrangements ahead of time and establishing your family estate insures that your loved ones won’t have to make these decisions for you at the time of your death.
