• Cedars Woodworking & Interior Painting, LLC provides custom woodworking and finishing to homeowners in southcentral Pennsylvania. If your project involves wood in any way, we can help. From remodeling to cabinets, wood floor installation and refinishing, replicating wood doors and windows (including shutters), designing and building custom furniture, outdoor construction (such as porch building, pergolas, wood fences, etc), antique furniture restoration, historic building restoration, stage set design/builds, custom wood fireplaces, and wood signs for businesses and churches, our experienced craftsmen are ready to help you out. We specialize in custom woodworking to make your living space unique, just the way you want it. This includes building custom furniture (both indoor and outdoor), designing and installing custom kitchen cabinets or built-in cabinetry, and custom gates and wooden doors. We love adding the finishing touch to complete a room, whether that’s a coffered ceiling, a detailed fireplace mantle, crown molding, window & door trim, or wainscoting (wood wall paneling). As craftsmen and woodworkers ourselves, we appreciate great woodworking when we see it. That’s why we love restoring antique furniture and renovating/restoring older homes and buildings. If something is beyond repair, our custom millwork can reproduce and replicate any wood trim or carving - no matter how intricate. This helps us honor the past by restoring a piece of furniture or the detailed trim work on a historic home or building to its original appearance. As part of a home remodeling project, we turn to technology to make the job quicker. We utilize CAD programs and 3D design software for the layout and design steps of your remodeling project; this makes it easier for you to visualize what your new space will look like. We also rely on an in-house CNC machine (precise computer-operated machinery) to handle some parts of our process, like creating the boxes for cabinets. The skilled woodworking is still done by our team of craftsmen; we simply rely on technology to make us more efficient. If you’re a construction or other woodworking company and need a specific piece made using a CNC woodworking machine, a project drafted up on the computer, or something else, you’re welcome to outsource that work to us.
