Firearms Training Firearms training for the Connecticut State pistol permit.$135 fee includes all books, pistol usage, ammunition range fees and expert NRA certified Instructors all in large modern classrooms. Our instructors will give you the finest and most complete NRA basic pistol training available anywhere. You will be trained on four different pistols of at least two different calibers. We will use an indoor shooting range. Before receiving your course completion certificate you will be competent to own and care for a firearm. You will be instructed on the responsibility of a gun owner including the safe storage of a firearm and using a firearm safely. Your instructor will discuss the state law with you and help you apply for your permit. We also offer free Notary service for your permit application.
