Everyone is encouraged to be involved in small groups as they are the primary means of making disciples. Small groups foster friendships and accountability, which help people develop the basic disciplines of the Christian life. (Mark 3:13-19; Acts2:42-47; 20:20)

Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) is offered on Sunday mornings during children's Sunday School (9:30 AM) at the Lohff-Schumann Community Center, Holstein. Come grab a cup of coffee & fellowship as we grow in God's Word together. No matter where you are in your faith walk or Bible experience, ABF is a place where we can build genuine friendships as we learn more about God, ourselves, and the everday challenges of life.

Our Women's Ministry is committed to inspire women to embrace the life of Christ, reflect His identity in their uniqueness, investing in others to go and do likewise. Some practical keys to unlocking this vision in the life of CrossRidge Church include: Bible studies, various caring ministries and fellowship groups. We also participate in various events organized by our sponsor church, Summit EFC of Alta, such as Women's Retreats and Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS). Women's Small Group Studies are seasonally held in homes which provide opportunities for friendships, outreach, & different topics of study throughout the year.

Summit's Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS) ministry meets on the first and third Wednesdays at 9:30 AM during the school year at Summit Church in Alta. MOPS plans a monthly activity for moms of non-school aged children geared for fun and relaxation, including: games, special speakers, trips, and more! Our desire is to equip busy women to influence their families, neighbors and communities for Christ. (Denise Conover of Holstein is a mom mentor. For more information contact Denise at: or

Our Small Groups are based on Colossians 1:10: "So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." Our hope is for each person to connect to a small group during the week for further spiritual training, friendship & outreach. Our goal is to become a small community of Christ-followers who are deeply committed to encouraging one another to become more like Christ and caring for each other. Our Men's Ministry seeks to provide opportunities for men to develop real friendships with other men that go deeper than the work, weather or sports. Some of these opportunities include: IRONMAN monthly men's group (6:30-8 AM on the 2nd Saturday of every month at the Lohff-Schumann Community Center) and outreach projects. We also participate in additional men's events organized by our sponsor church, Summit EFC of Alta, such as: a Men's Winter Retreat & sporting events. Our goal is to encourage men to become the man God has designed them to be at work, home and play. Contact Chris Clark
