Since 1995 DLG has showcased contemporary art that is well crafted, always intriguing, sometimes meditative and frequently thought provoking. DLG hosts monthly exhibitions, maintains a densely populated website, and participates in art fairs held across the country. After almost 20 years, the gallery has moved from its location in East Memphis, at Laurelwood to its temporary headquarters at 64 Flicker Street. Temporary because the renovations of the new David Lusk Gallery should be complete and ready for the 20th Anniversary festivities later this year.Gallery owner David Lusk likes what he does: "It has been a blast creating opportunities for our artists on both a local and national level. For me, working with clients and artists to incorporate contemporary art into their everyday lives is tremendously invigorating."The team in Memphis includes David Lusk, Robert Hollingsworth, Brittney Shedden, and Greg Smith. Outside of their individual roles, each of these art professionals is dedicated to helping the search for contemporary art be informative and enjoyable.
