About Us

  • Debbie Franz seeks to guide individuals and couples through their emotional and psychological trauma to a place of self-confidence, self-validation, and empathetic understanding. Debbie helps her clients to understand the “why” behind their emotional and psychological distress allowing them to see the cause and determine the effect through therapeutic dialogue. Debbie specializes in helping adolescent girls, individual women, and couples. She is capable of aiding teenagers and their parents deal with the emotional hardships of adolescents and behaviors such as eating disorders, physical harm, depression and anxiety. Among individual women Debbie can help with relationship dissatisfaction, career decisions, life transitions, and family building. Debbie graduated from the University of Washington in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Dance before obtaining a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Theological Studies at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Since graduating Debbie has become a student of C.I.M.B.S. (complex integration of multibrain systems) technique, focusing on neurological study while retaining a holistic approach to healing. She has also worked as a facilitator for The Allender Center for Abuse and Trauma. As well, fifteen years previously Debbie volunteered on a sexual assault crisis line and was trained as a group facilitator of survivors of sexual abuse for the same local organization.
