• Monica Kieu, DO, is a caring and committed facial plastic surgery specialist at Del Rey Aesthetics Center in Marina Del Rey and Long Beach, California. Dr. Kieu uses the latest state-of-the-art techniques and technologies for surgical procedures including facelift, rhinoplasty, neck lift, hair restoration, lip lift, and non-surgical procedures like cosmetic injectables. Dr. Kieu grew up in California. As the daughter of two physicians, she’s always been comfortable in the medical field. Dr. Kieu graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She completed an otolaryngology residency at Michigan State University in Detroit, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Kieu also completed a highly prestigious fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. In addition to her work at Del Rey Aesthetics Center, Dr. Kieu is an assistant clinical professor of surgical services at Michigan State University. Emphasizing a natural look and optimal patient results, Dr. Kieu uses a personalized approach in which she takes the time to truly understand each patient’s needs. As a female in a male-dominated space, Dr. Kieu has a special connection with her patients because she understands the female aesthetic. Dr. Kieu goes on medical missions to give back to underserved populations, and she recently worked in Vietnam and Malawi in that capacity. She performed procedures including facial reconstructions, cleft lip repairs, and palate corrections to help patients regain not only function but also self-confidence.
