We are two working mothers who decided to open Disentangle Lice Removal after recognizing there was a great need for it in our community. Together we have 8 children and both of us have personal experience dealing with lice. We know all too well the panic that ensues after being told your child has an infestation and the desire to get it taken care of as quickly as possible. We are also hair stylists who have been in the industry for a combined 29 years. We have seen enough cases in our careers to know what a nightmare it can be for other mothers when they are told their child has a case of head lice. It knows no limits and all families are affected, regardless of good hygiene and cleanliness. Through our personal experience and helping many of our clients and friends combat these pests, we realized that many families need help. And with the heightened number of cases in our community and literature documenting the resistance head lice have built to over the counter treatments, we became aware that the traditional methods of treatment were just not cutting it. And why would any parent want to use toxic pesticides on their children’s heads even if it actually worked?
