Over the past 12 years we have been a part of the sports medicine staff at Clarke Central High School. We have also worked with the University of Georgia athletic department on a variety of sports related conditions. Wound CareStudies have shown that if a wound has not decreased in size by 50% in a 4 week period there is only a 9% change of the wound healing without using other treatment modalities such as graft materials, off loading boots, or possible surgical intervention. We have available all these modalities and are experts in treating wound of all kinds.
