  • Dr. Niloo Dardashti is a New York licensed psychologist, couples therapist, and national life coach for adults from all walks of life. She helps clients with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, and adult ADHD. Treatment methods include mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic and neurolinguistic programming (NLP) based approaches. These methods help to address and manage the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that often prevent people from making positive changes and habituating productive behaviors. In addition, Dr. D can help patients with wellness issues such as sleep problems nutrition, and weight management by introducing a holistic mental health regimen. This regimen begins with testing for vitamin and mineral deficiencies as well as neurotransmitter imbalances. Dr. D can then recommend the proper complement of vitamins and neutroceuticals to promote a healthy balance of these important dietary and neural elements in the body and brain.

    In her couples therapy/marriage counseling practice, Dr. D helps couples communicate effectively, eliminate habits that are harmful to the relationship, and get past obstacles in the relationship that prevent partners from experiencing the intimacy they once had. In certain cases, treatment may include a sex therapy component that helps partners meet each others' needs in a safe environment. This process often leads couples to a deeper love and trust than ever before.

    Finally, Dr. D has coached professional clients from all over the country to achieve success in their careers. She teaches skills such as time management, communication, assertiveness, and leadership, self-confidence and self esteem, and problem solving skills needed to break obstacles down to smaller parts and make them less intimidating.
