About Us

  • East Lake Veterinary Center was founded in 1981. From humble beginnings, our clients helped us build a practice to provide the best care for the furry members of the family. East Lake Veterinary Center is equipped with cutting edge technology such us: Laser surgery, therapeutic laser, digital x-ray, electronic medical records, state of the art equipped in house laboratory and pharmacy on site allowing us to provide veterinary health care services under one roof. Most laboratory tests are performed in house and results are available within minutes. Specialty pet food, prescription diet and other maintenance supplements or pills may be purchased through our website’s Home Delivery.East Lake Veterinary Center provides veterinary care for companion animals like cats and dogs, horses, pot belly pigs, rabbits, birds, reptiles such as turtles, snakes, pocket pets like ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, and exotics such as monkeys and sugar gliders. East Lake Veterinary Center also offers a veterinarian-supervised “cage-less” boarding facility. Each pet is housed in a private room that is cleaned twice daily. After all, how can pet parents enjoy a vacation if a furry member of their family is in a cage? Senior pets and pets on medications are also welcome. Pets that are guests in our boarding facility are exercised in a a well kept private yard. We really do treat pets as family members.Dr. Joyner is a leader in veterinary health continuing education. He is a member of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice that requires its members to complete a minimum 150 continuing education hours. East Lake Veterinary Center believes that education and training are essential in providing the best care. Our staff is required to attend regular training and seminars to keep up with the latest trends and innovations in veterinary medicine.
