  East Point Physical Therapy was opened to patients in December 2002, by Don "Red" Walendzak, PT, early at there quest of some local physicians. However, it was a work in progress for nearly 6 years prior to it opening. Red has been an associate at Gary Gray Physical Therapy in Adrian, Michigan, an administrator for Health South, a swell as a senior staff therapist in the ProMedica Health System. Red has also had the opportunity to lecture nationally on the topics of Functional Rehabilitation and Testing as well as Shoulder Rehabilitation. Through the many colleagues and associations the idea of a clinic that focused on patient care with a high level of service, a fun and friendly environment with a sense of community was born.
  
  East Point Physical Therapy continues to value all of the ideals of its foundation and exhibits this with its daily work and contracts with local high schools for Sports Medicine coverage. East Point Physical Therapy is a private, locally owned and operated physical therapy clinic. Its open and available to the public by appointment and or walk-in .
  
  Purpose:
  It is the goal of East Point Physical Therapy to provide its patients and staff with the best experience in physical therapy, to achieve the highest outcomes for its patients. We provide an open environment with great care given to personalize the physical therapy experience. We also utilize the value of community and fellowship for its unique ability to create an environment for healing. We utilize a comprehensive team approach of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and support staff. Our staff works hard to find the best approach for those in need of physical therapy. We work with all physicians, and most insurance providers.
