• About Frank Jewelers For over 50 years, and now the third generation, the Fontana family has served fine jewelry and gift clients from throughout the region. Frank Jewelers was originally part of a multi-store, regional chain of jewelry stores owned by the Frank family. 'Joe' Fontana managed the Freeport store for several decades and introduced his son Gary to the business. When the Frank family announced their decision to sell the business in 1992 and Joe looked to retirement, Gary and his new bride Debra bought the Freeport store. Out of respect for decades of excellent reputation, the Frank name was retained- and remains Frank Jewelers today. Since acquiring the store, Gary and Debra have expanded the showroom to almost 5 times its original size and added dozens of galleries of fine jewelry and gifts. We travel frequently to the major jewelry design shows and select trend setting, creative and stylish additions to our diamond, jewelry and fine gift presentation. The most sought after designers - including our own Legacy Collection, Natalie K diamonds, Forever10 diamonds, Pandora, Swarovski and Lladro - to name just a few- are displayed in our showcases...the largest collections in the region. In The Community For several years, Frank Jewelers has been the exclusive sponsor of the 'Glitter And Give' program of FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Illinois. Frank Jewelers creates a 'store' within the premises of the hospital and for two days each Fall offers selected jewelry and gifts to hospital staff and visitors at special prices. Frank Jewelers donates 20% of the sales total to FHN Partners In Giving, a program that purchases needed equipment for FHN facilities. Frank Jewelers also contributes to and donates prizes to the Freeport Catholic SchoolSystem, Freeport School District 145, VOICES Domestic Violence program, the UnitedWay and others.
