Dubois has mild winters and our dry snow piles high in the nearby mountains and attracts snowmobilers, ice climbers and back country skiers. The Wind River Valley, with its unique and colorful badlands, is surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest land in the Wind River and Absaroka Mountains.
