Produced from only one mine in the world, the Vortex Mine, located in central Montana, the Yogo Sapphire exemplifies a truly rare gem. Ninety-five percent of the world's sapphires must be treated with heat to achieve the brilliant colors for which sapphires are known, but the gorgeous Yogo sapphires featured at The Gem Gallery are never treated. They represent to gemologists the absolute best quality of completely natural sapphires.
