Jim held various management positions in marketing, sales, and product development during a 13 year career at MICROS Systems, a multi-national computer hardware/software company headquartered in the Washington Metropolitan area. Barry Lowenthal is a 1992 graduate of Cornell University. He too worked at MICROS Systems for over 10 years, holding a number of technical, product management, and executive level positions. In late 2002, Barry and Jim decided to go into business together and opened their Heaven's Best franchise.
