John Filbrandt Plumbing & Heating Inc. was founded by Joseph Filbrandt in 1921. Joseph was born March 14th 1890 in Antigo Wisconsin. After receiving a common school education, he entered the plumbing business in 1913. On July 14th, 1921, he formed a partnership with H. Vowinkle of Sheboygan. The firm was known as the Antigo Plumbing & Heating Company with offices on Edison Street in Antigo. After a few years, Filbrandt bought out Vowinkle. In January of 1963, Josephs sons, John and Jerome purchased the family business, which is now run and owned by John Filbrandt.
