KJM Equestrian School is Tulsa's longest established English riding facility, having been founded in 1971 by Kevin J. McCorkle. We accept students from age seven through adult. All students at KJM, regardless of age, start with several introductory private lessons. These introductory lessons allow the instructor to evaluate the student's strengths and abilities. After the introductory lessons, students are placed in one-hour group lessons with other students of the same age and ability. Lessons occur weekly unless cancelled due to weather or other circumstances. The KJM lesson program runs throughout the year, with all levels running continuously. All KJM instructors arrange their own schedules. When students are ready to make the big step to buy a horse, our KJM instructors can help you locate and purchase a horse that's right for you. KJM has had many years of experience selecting safe, sound, and sane horses and negotiating the purchase of horses that best fit each rider's needs and capabilities.
