Welcome to Karam Restaurant! The Original Owners, The One & Only Karam Restaurant in Portland... Serving Portland, Oregon for over 15 years. Beginning with Long Island Pizzeria in 1988, we eventually changed our name to Long Island Cafe adding a variety of traditional Lebanese dishes to our menu. Karam Restaurant started when we expanded our location to offer an even broader menu, featuring our delicious Lebanese and Syrian cuisine in a more intimate setting.

In 2011, the Karam family retired back to their village in Lebanon and their niece Magdalene, took over the restaurant to keep it in the family. At Karam Restaurant, we wish to expand your food experience by bringing you the freshest, healthiest, and great tasting food around, all made from scratch, including our fresh pita, and gluten free pita.

Now in 2016, Magdalene is teaching cooking classes, wine pairing and tasting, and catering for amazing events, weddings and parties. Come check out the amazing food!
