Kimberly Ward, MD BOARD CERTIFIED INTERNAL MEDICINE Dr. Kimberly Ward was born in Dayton, Ohio, but spent most of her childhood in Plano, Texas. After graduation from Plano Senior High School, she attended Texas A & M University, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in 1995. Upon her completion of her undergraduate work, she attended Texas Tech Health Science Center School of Medicine in Lubbock and achieved her M.D. degree in 2000. Dr. Ward completed her post graduate training in Internal Medicine in Houston, Texas at the University of Texas at Houston Health Sciences Center. Throughout her residency she was afforded access to cutting edge medical care in the world renowned Houston Medical Center which includes institutions such as St. Lukes Heart Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital, and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She was appointed a chief resident position but elected to complete her residency and move with her husband and family to San Antonio where her husband was stationed with the US Air Force at Wilford Hall Medical Center. Dr. Ward has always had a special interest in women’s health and preventative health care. Most of Dr. Ward’s time currently is spent managing her home and family.
