• The principal agent at Legacy Insurance is Russell Thater. Having over 8 years experience in the industry, he opened Legacy Insurance on November 1st 2013.
  
  Russell’s perception of how a business should be run was shaped early in life. Growing up on Long Island New York you knew the owners of all the shops that ran up and down the main road. The pizzeria, the baker, the Italian butcher the barber etc. The people who worked in these businesses owned them. This means they took pride in everything they did and were accountable to their patrons. If you had a discrepancy you spoke directly to the person in charge and they would take care of you. That is how business was done.
