Dr. Richard McDermott chose the name Legacy Orthodontics to reflect our commitment to the standard of excellence in orthodontic treatment and patient care established by the practice founder, Dr. George Dee Bankhead. Known originally as Bankhead Orthodontics, then later as Columbia Orthodontics, our name has changed, but our total team commitment to high quality and professional care has remained as strong as it ever was.
