• Martha Gibson, of Martha Gibson Studios, has delighted art enthusiasts for more than 25 years. Her unique and original realism paintings are one of a kind. Take some time and visit her art gallery in Courtland, Virginia, to view beauty on canvas! When Martha Gibson was six years old, she began painting with her grandmother. This interest in art stayed with her until she attended Chowan University in Murphysboro, North Carolina, where she studied and graduated with a commercial art degree.
