Hello! I’m Melissa Arlena and I love JCrew cardigans and anything nautical. I’m a film photographer, sailor, and carpenter’s daughter hence my love of DIY projects. Military wife and boy mom are my two favorite jobs though. I’m based out of Fredericksburg, Virginia and I love traveling all over our beautiful state photographing couples in love. Whether that is with each other or their new babies! While my focus started on wedding and engagement photos I’ve been thrilled to expand into maternity and newborn photography as my past couples become parents! I’ve been photographing weddings & portraits for over 8 years. Over that time I’ve been blessed to see the beginning of many love stories as my couples have become engaged and gotten married. In addition I’m getting to photograph the next chapter in their lives as they create families together. I love forming those relationships with my clients that allow me to document all their major life events!
