Michael-Austin Photography opened in 2009, and for the first year provided primarily event photography. In 2011 we began working with more local musicians and small business owners, and covered larger events like the Austin Pet Expo and SXSW. We are now a full service photography studio available for weddings, family portraits, corporate events and headshots. Professional photography isn’t about gimmicks or tricks – like everything meaningful it is a mix of talent, hard work, and experience. We capture unique people and moments, pay attention to the details that others might miss, and reveal the nature of the subject in a way that is open, honest, and fun. Years behind the lens have left me better equipped to photograph the little moments of big events. Our goal is to continually create great images that showcase real people at their most authentic moment.
