• Michael (Mike) Hanson J.D. graduated from the University of Akron; School of Law, in 1991. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1991. Attorney Hanson has worked in the claims division of three major insurance companies throughout Pennsylvania in multiple jurisdictions and venues. He has advocated on behalf of clients with the largest personal injury firm in Western Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience in commercial liability, personal injury, and automobile accident claims. His background in advising people from both a plaintiff and an insurance company perspective provides his clients with insight into negotiating and litigating personal injury claims. This experience helps his clients to receive the appropriate compensation that they are entitled to under the law. Attorney Hanson has experience in Wills & Estate planning and enjoys working with seniors and the disabled and their families. In addition to his legal practice, Michael J. Hanson is Managing Director of IKOR of Western Pennsylvania. IKOR provides medical and financial advocacy and guardianship services for seniors, the disabled, and children with special needs and their families. In his role with IKOR, Attorney Hanson partners with and is supported by a team of Registered Nurse Advocates and Financial Advocates who provide advocacy and guardianship related services designed to improve quality of life and clinical care for the clients served.
