About Us

  • Welcome to Morgan Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 6025 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve your family at its greatest time of need. We are a family owned and operated funeral home and crematory located in New Port Richey right across the street from Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens. We understand that many of you have never had to make arrangements before or have a relationship with a funeral home. If you live out of state, or right around the corner, let us guide you and answer any questions you may have regarding your own personal needs. Having being born and raised in New Port Richey, it is important to know every aspect of funeral service and be connected with the community. We will surprise and surpass any expectations you may have in dealing with a funeral home. That is our promise to you and the service you deserve. My name is Chris Kaduk. I am the owner and funeral director of Morgan Funeral Home. I was born and raised here in New Port Richey. I am the son of Ted and Darby Kaduk. My father has been a Dentist in New Port Richey for almost 40 years. My family has a long history with New Port Richey and has always lived a life of serving others. That is one of the reasons why I became a funeral director. Most funeral directors are descendants of their own family but I found the calling back when I was in high school. I was heavily involved with my church growing up and I always wanted some kind of profession that worked with religion and helping others. My sister was getting ready to go to college (she is also a Dentist) and my father came home from work one day and asked what my future plans were. I didn't?t know exactly but then he said.. ?Why don?t you become a funeral director?? Looking back it was the best suggestion one could make and the best decision I ever made. What a perfect way to serve the church, help with families that are going through pain, and serve the same community my father has served for so long. That was back in 1994. Little did I know that conversation would change my life. I got a summer job at a Funeral Home near my high school. I went to the University of Florida to get my business degree and continued to Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Georgia. While attending school at Gupton-Jones, I worked at a local funeral home in Atlanta. When I came home from college, I continued working locally at the funeral home near my high school and received my license through the State of Florida in 2002. In 2005, I met my wife Jillian who is from the Grand Rapids area of Michigan, and a veterinarian in Spring Hill, Florida. Being married to a veterinarian brings along a few furry family members. We have several cats and a yellow Labrador named Elliot. Even though I have been working at Morgan Funeral Home since 2009, I purchased the Funeral Home in November, 2011. It took almost 17 years to achieve my dream of having my own Funeral Home. It has been a journey that I would never look back on and I always look forward to the future. We have made a few new additions to the funeral home, such as our 1937 Ford Automobile, Hospitality Room and our Reflections Garden constructed in front of the funeral home. Thank you for taking the time to look over our web site. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have. We do not have an answering service; I personally answer the phones 24 hours a day, even when I am not at the funeral home. Families are served best with direct personal contact in which all your questions can be answered anytime of the day.
