The Civil War was a momentous event in American history and Musical Voyages is excited to be able to offer authentic documents from those troubled times. Over 600,000 soldiers were killed, and the war ended slavery in the United States. Our newspapers have been passed down through the ages. They were collected by a Civil War soldier, who passed them down to Charles Drew. In time, Drew handed them over to Steven Alfrey, his stepson and the founder of Musical Voyages.
