• Nalini Dance offers dance classes and shows in Seattle areas. CLASSES: Our classes encompass three styles – Bollywood, Belly Dance, and Russian Gypsy Dance – and range in level from beginning to professional. Classes are taught at various studios around the Bellevue area and can also be brought to your studio. PERFORMANCES: These same three styles taught in classes are the main performance repertoire of all the companies. We have performed at weddings in the Seattle, Bellevue, Portland, and Vancouver BC areas and perform annually at events such as Northwest Folklife, Ananda Mela, and the Mediterranean Fantasy Festival. Other events have included professional theatre shows collaborating with musicians such as VIA Romen, New Age Flamenco, and Anna Vasilevskaya and “Arts for Hearts”. We have also worked with dance companies like Fluers d’Egypt, UNMATA, PAIPA, VIJAY LAXMI GROUP, and Bellydance Soulfire and organizations like Middle East Arts International. Other events we have performed in are listed below. COSTUMES: Professional handmade Belly dance costume shop. We offer ready and custom made Bollywood (Indian Dance), Belly Dance and Russian Gypsy dance costumes, outfits.
