About Us

  • Dr. Closson joined National Spine & Pain Centers in 2007. He attended The Johns Hopkins University where he received a B.S. in Biology. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and then completed a General Surgery Internship at St. Agnes Hospital. Dr. Closson’s Anesthesiology residency and fellowship in Interventional Pain Management was at the University of Maryland Department of Anesthesiology. He has given numerous lectures on low back pain, complex regional back pain syndrome, spinal cord and peripheral stimulation.
