About Us

• My name is David Poles and I am the owner of Newton Counseling Center. I offer both counseling and coaching to clients and loved ones, teaching individuals such as yourself how to overcome painful emotions while staying sober. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2004, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 2003 and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Massachusetts since 2008.
  
  The following is the current scope of my services:
  • Mandated alcohol and other drug abuse evaluations
  • Individual psychotherapy for both adolescents and adults
  • Family meetings, providing psycho-education regarding codependency, enabling and having healthy boundaries with loved ones with addictions
  • Couples counseling
  • Executive Coaching for business owners and corporate executives struggling with addictions i.e. gambling, drugs, pornography and or alcohol
