• Welcome to NJ Smiles Of Ramsey Meet Josephine Carapezza Dr. Carapezza- Has been in private practice for 25 years. She graduated from Villanova University in 1985, with a bachelors of Science. She then attended the prestigious New York University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her degree in 1989. Josephine loves being a general dentist, as it enables her to combine her friendly and compassionate personality, with her exceptional clinical skills. Dr Carapezza, along with her husband, daughter and son (now in college), have called Mahwah their home for 20 years. In her spare time, you can find Josephine creating culinary delights, as she is passionate about cooking. Meet Dr. Hardeek B. Patel Dr Patel has had the opportunity to further my education at prestigious and highly regarded New York University College of Dentistry with Honors in General Practice (Faculty Practice). Prior to that, he was a practicing dentist in Bombay,India, having graduated dental school in 1998. One of his passions in life is to gain as much education as he can. He attends numerous continuing education courses all over the US and other countries to better understand all aspects of the dentistry. So far Dr. Patel has attended over 400 hours of the credit courses. Some of the certifications he has earned are in the fields of the Orthodontics- Invisalign, ClearCorrect, and Fixed Braces., Dental implants and endodontics (root canals). He is also eligible to earn the ALD- Laser dentistry certificate. Dr Patel takes pride in everything that he does and treats each individual patient as I would treat his own family members. He is a member of ADA, AGD, AAED, AACD, numerous Study Clubs as well as member of Middlesex County Dental Society and New Jersey Dental Association.
